From Downtown

Take the Hawthorne Bridge. Make first exit on 99E going south. Follow 99E to the Holgate Blvd. Exit. Follow Holgate to SE 28th Ave. Turn right on 28th heading south. Follow 28th and make left turn (just around the bend) in the Sports Center parking lot. If you want to take public transportation take either the #10 bus or the #19 bus (make sure they are heading EAST over the river). The #19 will eventually pass Reed College to the south of campus. Get off around 30th Ave. and walk across campus to the Sports Center. The #10 will end up on Steele St., north of campus. Get off at approx. 30th Ave. In both cases, just ask the bus driver to tell you when he gets to Reed College.

From the North

Take I-5 south to Exit 300B "Milwaukie - Oregon City." Stay in the left lane on the exit ramp, and follow the signs for an immediate right exit onto Hwy 99E heading south. (Hwy 99E is also M. L. King, Jr. Blvd., and later becomes McLoughlin Blvd.) Take 99E to the Holgate Blvd. exit, and continue on Holgate Blvd. to SE 28th Ave. Turn right on 28th heading south. Turn left on Steele Street and then right into the Steele Street parking lots. Or follow 28th further and make the left turn (just around the bend) up into the Sports Center parking lot.

From the South

Take I-5 north to Exit 300B "Southeast Industrial Area - OMSI" immediately after you cross to the right (east) bank of the Willamette River. Go straight from the stop sign a few blocks to the major intersection at 99E (99E is also M.L. King, Jr. Blvd.), which is a one-way street to the right. Turn right heading south on 99E, and follow the directions in "From the North."

From the East

Take I-84 west to I-205 heading south. Exit at SE Foster Rd, traveling west on Foster. At 82nd turn left for a short distance and then turn right onto Woodstock Blvd. Continue on Woodstock past 39th, and Reed College will be on your right. Parking is available at the main entrance and on Steele Street. To find the Steele lot, continue on Woodstock and turn right on 28th. Turn right again on Steele St. and look for the PJF signs.

From the West

Enter Portland and take Hwy 26 (a.k.a.Sunset Highway) east across the Willamette River on the Ross Island Bridge. At the end of the bridge take the exit onto southbound 99E, and follow the directions in "From the North."

From the Airport

Take the airport road to southbound I-205 and follow the directions in "From the East."

Public Transit

Take TriMet, Portland's bus system. From the downtown transit mall (a short walk from the bus and train stations), take the 19 Woodstock bus to the Reed College entrance (3203 SE Woodstock Blvd.). The Sport Center is on the west side of campus, along 28th Ave.
